Marital and Couples Therapy
Helping Families Adjust to Separation and Divorce
Over the years, I have taken a special interest in marital therapy and often work with couples to help them understand and resolve issues that may stand in the way of a close relationship. With a background in child clinical psychology, I also work with parents to help them bridge any differences in parenting styles and to offer guidance in helping parents be responsive to children with learning differences, ADHD, or other developmental issues.
I work frequently with parents who are either considering a divorce or who have already separated. For those families, I can often be helpful in developing a post separation parenting plan and creating a time sharing agreement based on the developmental needs of the children. When appropriate, I work directly with children and adolescents in the midst of a separation to help reduce the strain of what can be a painful transition. For high conflict families, I have also served as a post separation parent coordinator
Psychotherapy and Coaching For Business Executives
I have worked closely with CEOs, CFOs, startup founders, and other high level business executives and investment professionals. When consulting about work related concerns, my aim is to help clients cope successfully with the unique demands on high level executives and to resolve any personal issues or relationship styles that may hinder productivity, career advancement, or leadership effectiveness.
